ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
General Assembly
The Kanan Kay Alliance is made up of a diverse cross-sector membership. Through the General Assembly, it chooses among themselves a Coordinating Committee comprised of four coordinators, one in charge of each strategic external objective, and up to two liaisons per objective. All of them are responsible for coordinating efforts to implement the Alliance operative plan.

Coordinating Committee
The Coordinating Committee is composed of four coordinators: one for each strategic line (external objectives) and up to two liaisons per line, whose responsibility is to succeed in the implementation efforts of the Alliance’s work plan.

General Coordination
The General Coordination of the Kanan Kay Alliance provides a link between both committees (Coordinating Committee and Executive Committee) and the general membership; it also follows up on agreements, the annual operating plan, and the strategic plan.

Executive Committee
The administrative, financial, and significant decisions (when the latter are of an administrative or monetary nature), are made by the Executive Committee, consisting of the three founding donors and up to four guest advisors with recognized prestige in the marine or fishery conservation sphere, one of which should represent an Alliance member organization.
